Hi Anyastar . Nice to hear from you again and good to know you have been doing well although you've come across this new concern. I can't help but I am sure someone here can. I hope it turns out to be nothing too serious. Best wishes.

Glad to hear it all worked out for you great that you have come back to share the news later down the line.
Can't help re the stoma question but sure someone will be along to help soon. Have you you tried the doctors or do you have a district nurse still to ask?

Yes I know I should keep in touch more, I'm not the best at putting my words down Yes I Visited my Doctor she had not got a clue she looked to find another Doctor and he was missing lol Doctors aren't the same as they used to be , My Stoma Nurses are great thing is they will soon be on leave for Christmas,

Are you able to contact the stoma nurse you saw after the operation? When I first saw blood I phoned her and she made me an appointment for the stoma clinic at the local hospital (fortunately only 2 miles from home). Did a bag change and examination at the clinic where she said small amounts spots of blood when cleaning the stoma were nothing to worry about and a sign of good blood supply. Larger amounts or blood in the bag would need to be checked out though.
I’m coming up to 2 years in January and still occasionally see spots of blood when changing particularly if I’ve been very active. I now wear braces, no belts or elasticated waistbands which can cause chafing.
Not much blood only round the edge of Stoma but still a shock to see it!
Talking to my Stoma Nurse on the Phone, I have been doing quite a lot over the last week and a half 2 Christmas Diners A Birthday Party Saturday Night a Lot of Dancing Another Party on Monday Night, If I die tomorrow I have enjoyed the last few days lol
You seem to be doing very well and sensible Walking is the best exercise
