Mr Denby had letters yesterday evening telling him the resection {TURBT] he had two weeks ago today had shown only chronic inflammation not cancer back. The second is a copy-in from that consultant to his colleague who is now clear to try surgery to improve bladder outflow [enlarged prostate]. Given original diagnosis of G3 High risk of recurrence and stage, ok 'only' Pta, six or seven years ago now [I'm not a great counter] I just want others to be encouraged that this is possible. Whatever the future brings he has enjoyed more years of all natural functions [me too] and seen our grandson grow from a baby to a lad of eight, and given away our younger daughter at her wedding.
I wish all as good an outcome if possible, though many good wishes to those who have already faced bigger challenges such as RC.
Denby
Excellent news and good health may it be continued for a long time yet.
