how many times can superficial bladder cancer return

thanks for the reply i wasn't sure how many bcg washes you can have i just thought i add 6 and that's it so they do offer more if needed?

The BCG schedule is usually an initial course of 6 weeks, then if all clear, maintenance doses at intervals over next 2 years. Does depend a bit on the grade of any recurrences. 

My brother had low grade recurrences over a couple of years or so, and I have heard of people going back 'for a scrape' over a number of years.  Provided it stays low grade, that's all that is needed. It's when it turns to higher grade that more intervention is needed.

ok thanks for the reply i have add a few scrapes over the last 4 years was just wondering if thats what they keep doing if staying at a low grade many thanks

went to hospital for my check up yesterday and got the all clear over the moon got to go back in 6 months for check up again many thanks for your reply's
