Hi everyone, I’ve not been on here much lately ( other problems for my husband) but after 22 flexi scopes and 12 years of having bladder cancer, 15 BCGs I have at last been discharged. Pta grade 3.
Im not leaving the group but thought I’d let the new people know there is life after bladder cancer, I know how scared I was on the 7th Nov 2011 when the doctor said it could be bladder cancer.
Good luck everyone xx
Hi sueCC and good to hear from you again. Great to hear you have been discharged. Where did all those years go? Although I am also officially discharged, I still get an annual check up. Wishing you well going forward and keep in touch. Best wishes.
Hello JoyceF, it’s a scary time for us all. However, once you get the diagnosis and a treatment plan is put forward everything seems clearer and less frightening. One piece of advice is to avoid Google at all costs. Look at MacMillan, Cancer Research UK. Or ask people on this wonderful, informative forum. Good luck Garviv
I’ve had the opportunity since year 10 to stop or carry on but thought todays the day to finish, they would have carried on with yearly ones if I’d wanted.
Pleased you’re still doing well Rily, you was a great help to me at the start so thanks for been there xxx
