Stinging / burning sensation
Hi Rob180 . This has the signs of infection which is common after a cystoscopy. I would drop a sample at your GP for testing. Our local pharmacies now do testing to take the pressure off GPs and can prescribe antibiotics if needed. Best wishes,
Hi Rob180,I’m sorry you are still having symptoms.Did they send off your urine for testing ? You could still have an infection especially as you have kidney pain.I know you mentioned Trimethoprim in your other post. This is often given because its cheap it’s not always effective. Some bacteria take longer to culture.I picked up a hospital acquired infection post TURBT which didn’t show up at first.I hope you feel better soon.Jane
Hi Rob180
Glad to hear your antibiotics are starting to work, they can take a few days for you to feel the effects.
Hope you continue getting better.
Love Ade xx
