I have been having problems peeing due to stage 3 BC. To date I'm up about 10 times a night, I'm lucky if I can get a 1hour sleep between pees
I had a catheter in most of last year which gave me a decent sleep at nights but was uncomfortable.
I asked about a RC, I know it's a big op but after the past 3 yrs I'm willing to try anything. The doc said no and that I might not survive the operation due to scar tissue from previous ops, a partial cholestomy 7cm of bowel removed due to bowel cancer 14 years ago, gall bladder removed 12 yrs ago and hernia op 11yrs ago.
Consultant said my surviving the op was 25% .TBH the way I feel now I would accept these odds, this lack of sleep is doing me nuts. Sorry it's a long read.
Hi Franksnr, you have been through quite a lot so far. I don't have experience of the challenges you have been dealing with, however there will be someone on here with advice or their own experience .
Lack of sleep is totally draining and exhausting, my heart goes out to you. I hope you find some answers or ideas. Do you have a CNS ? Are there any medicines the urologists have offered ?
Much love Angela x
