Hi lovely people, I have started with a headcold i think, eyes feel sore, headache which i rarely get, congested and earache. I rang the dept and the assistant said my CNS will ring me back shortly, but if i have a cold , they wont give it today . If thats true I feel a bit gutted and also worried about missing a week . Anyone else missed a week before ?
Yes lots of TV for me today, good luck for tomorrow xx
Hi Tracey (BB) Yes I'm on BCG too. I had the dreaded red patches after my induction and had to have biopsies taken. They turned out to be inflammation and not a reoccurrence thank goodness but I was in a state of panic for weeks until I got my results. I finished my first round of maintenance BCG today so number 9 done and dusted. I've got a PDD scan booked for November 14th under GA. I have found that this round has given longer lasting side effects. More bladder pain etc but I'm putting that down to the BCG doing its job. Hopefully the PDD scan will be clear, if they do see something suspicious though, biopsies can be taken during the procedure. Then on to the next lot of maintenance, numbers 10, 11 and 12.
Sending love and hugs to you too.
Love Ade xx
Hi Angela, hope tomorrow goes well for you. I must admit that the bleaching and rushing to the toilet has taken it out of me today! Glad it's over with for a few weeks.
Sending you a big hug for tomorrow.
Love Ade xx
Thanks Ade, I just got back and have a feeling that this might be a tough one ! already getting a bit of discomfort , but we will see. I was told after next week I just get 2 flexis and no bcg for 6 months so thats great. will also get a CT soon. It is mentally exhausting at times. Thanks for caring Ade hugs to you xx
Much love Angela x
Hi Angela,
Hope the effects of BCG don't last long.
The six month break was most welcome for me and will hopefully make a difference for you also. Of course they still check up on us in-between but glad the break between the BCGs is longer.
Wishing you all the best.
Trevor
