Hi I have just had another op to remove cancer cells this was on the 24 August but I am still getting very sharp acute pain down below the pain takes my breath away , I am ok when I go to the toilet , it’s just when I am sat watching telly or sat in the car , has any one else had this and is it normal after the op
Hi Forestranger . Various aches and pains can be common after a TURBT but always worth while checking with the medics. Do you have a CNS you can call ? Also an idea to drop a sample at your GP to check for infection which can happen after a cystoscopy. Best wishes.
I did take a sample with me last week and I did say to my surgeon about it he did say it can take up to a month to settle down , my sample was ok the nurse said no infection but there was still a little blood , I will give my cns a call tomorrow
