Hello you wonderful people, just thought I would let you know, through my happy tears , my biopsy for the red patch was clear. I am back on the BCG in 4 weeks time. My lovely nurse Lucy just called me to say she had been keeping an eye out for it, and wanted to let me know as soon as,rather than waiting for clinic ! What a lovely thoughtful woman she is . So… deep breath, smile again and carry on as normal. I am so lucky. Love to you all for always being there.
I dont think that is strange Hopeful, I think its wonderful and can i have a slice of it please lol! best wishes to you
Much love Angela x
Hello Angela, wonderful, wonderful news. You must be “dancing in the street”, preferably without Mr Jagger. I hope Mr Halofan has something planned for you this weekend. More BCG in four weeks but you will sail through that. My next BCG journey is due in 6 weeks time. We are planning a holiday first though. It sounds as if you have a wonderful team supporting you. My MacMillan nurse is so kind and understanding. It makes all the difference. I will raise a glass to you at tomorrow’s Friday Curry night( details to follow) Garviv
Garviv
Oh Garviv, thankyou for your lovely words. Mr Halofan has booked our favourite curry house, and came home with arms full of flowers, which is lovely. He has booked a few days just in Anglesey, dont want to exhaust myself just before BCG. I shall raise a glass to you and mrs Garviv tomorrow . You have lifted my spirits on many an occasion Garviv, take care of yourself. Are you going abroad ?
Much love Angela x
aw thankyou my friend. It is such a relief . Life carrying on as normal .
Have you had your 2nd turbt yet derbyblade ?
Much love Angela x
Booked in for 12 September - the day before my youngest daughter’s fifth birthday so I’ve got a good reason to be up and out as soon as possible!
CT scan showed no spread which was good, so as long as that TURBT confirms no muscle invasion I should be due to start BCG before too long.
Had a lovely day with the kids at Yorkshire Wildlife Park today in the sunshine :) left me utterly exhausted but smiling so that’s a huge positive.
Sending love and positive vibes your way
