Hi all, so I just heard I am having my GA Cystoscopy Bx next week on 15th. My urologist does it like this; 6 weeks BCG then flexi cystoscopy. Then 3 more BCG then GA cystoscopy BX . I do find it a bit odd that I cant just have another flexi, but i have to trust the experts. Not gonna lie , it has definitely given me the what ifs !! It is such hard work mentally trying to ignore the what ifs, but no choice really. Putting my big girl pants on and trying to think positively. I know you guys are always on standby with support and I love you all for that .
Hi Angela, I am so sorry that I have not been on here and responding to you. Just read all your posts and you sounded so nervous and then so relieved, I am so glad it's over and it's just red patches and fingers crossed your results will be all good. How fantastic that they played Bowie for you, you must have an excellant team there, sending you a massive hug, sorry for not being around and rest up and chill out loads of love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi Tracey, please please dont apologise for not posting. I KNOW that you care and are very supportive to me. I know that everyone on here is also trying to live their life and enjoy/get through each day as it comes, and they are not on the forum all the time. Your love and hugs lifted my spirits this morning and it is welcome at anytime. I hope you are ok. Have you had any news from your scan yet ? Fingers crossed friend.
Much love Angela x
Hi Leo, thanks for your care. They played Heroes which had me almost blubbing , Life on Mars and Jean Genie as they finished. Very quick op thankfully. I think my body was in shock yesterday from the stress. I slept ok though, so all good
Much love Angela x
Hi lovely, yes that's right I do sometimes not log in to the forum when I am busy just getting on with life which is how it's been at the moment.
No have not heard anything re the scan, I don't thing they get in touch unless they need to, I have not had any follow ups from them previously. If I don't hear anything I will ask when back at Guys in October.
I hope it's as everyone says, crappy old stuff from bcg and previous turbts but I hope it's all over and done with for you soon and you get back on track. Just so cool about the Bowie music playing. It lightens the trauma somewhat.
Take care for now Angela, speak on here soon xx
