I am still trying to decide if I will have Mitomycin or not - does anyone know how many times you can have a TURBT as these may be needed more frequently if a course of Mitomycin not taken. I am thinking repeated TURBTs must leave scarring on bladder?

Thanks again to all
Hi Tweenies, Mitomycin has been great for my OH. Despite neither tolerating it heated [bladder spasmed it straight back out!] nor keep it in for as long as supposed to over the course of six, he has had no recurrences, just a couple of 'red patch scares' in about five years. He had already had a TURBT, 6 BCG and an immediate recurrence before moving to the Mitomycin. His only side effect from it was fatigue next day, and you do have to mind the instructions about washing yourself as it is irritant.
But there are many people here, I'm sure someone will say, who have had quite a few TURBTS.
Hope OH's story helps,
Denby
