As some of you know I’ve been so scared about tomorrow coming! Has it grown, what will they think, will the polyp be benign or cancer, I woke in such a panic this morning! I’m absolutely dreading tomorrow! It’s been 4 weeks since ultrasound picked it up and now almost feels like it’s happening to some one else not me .. am I lucky somethings found on the ultrasound, am I lucky it’s small….am I unlucky that there’s even anything there!! :(
Your thread title is a little confusing-I thought the polyp was in your bladder? A colposcopy is an examination of the cervix, whereas a cystoscopy is a camera into the bladder.
I would say be glad of an incidental finding which is tiny, as yours is. At least you can now have it identified properly and treated if necessary. And 4 weeks wait is unlikely to have changed the size of anything.

It was just to save confusion, as cervical polyps are also a “thing”, but I understand your head’s all over the place at the minute. Hopefully you will know some more information tomorrow.

I’ve not had a cystoscopy myself as I’ve had my bladder removed, so I’m not sure how much they can say when they’ve done the procedure, sorry, but I’m sure others who have had this done will be able to share their experience.
