Hi I was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer with one tumour blocking my ureter. I had a TURBT a few months ago and had a stent fitted. My path results came back superficial. However the one in my ureter was not removed and I was told it had spread to my pelvic lymph node. Because of this they won't remove the kidney or ureter yet and i started chemo in April. I am on Gem / Cis which is making me very sick and not sure i can take another cycle should i need it .
From what I have read this cancer is rare so I'm looking for people who can share their journey with this type of cancer especially where lymph nodes are involved .Until the chemo I have had no pain and feel well so this is harder to take in.
thankyou x
Hi Pugsy. Sorry to hear of your ureter complications and you are struggling with the chemo. I know chemo is unpleasant, but hopefully it is doing its job. I hope you feel better soon. Best wishes.
