Hi has anyone had just radiotherapy as treatment for non invasive bladder cancer T1 HG as my husband is not keen on BCG but may not he able to have surgery due to kidney issues. Many thanks
I think you will find that the consultant will tell you that radiotherapy isn't an appropriate treatment for that stage of cancer. (That was what i was told at the same point of choice.) It is usually only offered for muscle invasive. Currently your husband has no evident cancer cells as the initial tumour has been removed. There has to be something for the radiotherapy to actually work on. BCG would be the appropriate alternative to surgery. Best wishes.
