Mitomycin Not Given During TURBT

Hi Everyone (new to the forum)

I have just had TURBT surgery to remove the tumour which turned out to be

Stage Ta

Grade G1

My concern is that I was not given the single dose Mitomycin chemotherapy at the end

Should I be concerned and is there anything I can do now such as get private treatment?

Hi zNikki.. I had a turbt June last year they did not give me mitomycin at the time..they classed it stage 3 ..I went on to have BCG immunotherapy every 3 months initially first 6 week then 3week course every 3 months following camera investigation I just finished a 3week course in 6weeks it's another camera check then a routine cat scan so far I have been clear .. I have one more course of BCG in October then I move onto just routine camera checks
