Help it's driving me potty! OK so had Turbt to remove a TA tumour Grade 2 before Christmas. Two weeks ago I finished my last round of chemo since then have had a little bleeding (apparently normal as the chemo strips cells from the bladder lining) but I now have an issue where I want to wee pretty much all the time.
I don't have an infection ..Nurse says it will pass but as I am waking 10 times or more I am not getting a huge amount of sleep. Anyone else had this? Is there anything on the market to stop or limit night urination?
Cheers everyone
Hi Byron62,I had this when I was first diagnosed and it was a miserable experience, you have my sympathy.I wish I could suggest something to help.Cutting out anything too acidic to eat and drink may reduce the irritation.I never had chemo but had chronic irritation of the bladder for many years.I hope your bladder calms down soon.Best wishes Jane
If the nurse says it's normal because of the chemo effects I'd just wait for it to pass, maybe check with the nurse how long is normal.
