Mr W has had blood and bacteria in his urine despite repeated antibiotics and various alternative treatments
Our Gp is frankly useless so we have decided to use private healthcare
Mr W has had various tests and ct scans and yesterday a flexible cystoscopy which showed no major problems in the bladder Thank goodness
Next step us a ureterscope and biopsy of an area that showed on ct scan When this all began almost 6 years ago an area of the ureter was biopsed as it was deemed suspicious but it was deemed not indicative of carcinoma in situ It was subsequently biopsed again a couple of years later with the same result That was actually after Mr W arrived at theatre to be told OP cancelled no scope available and we had a further 2 weeks wait
Mr W also has to be circumcised something he isnt looking forward to During his time on a ventilator with Covid the consultant feels the catheter caused damage which is why his last 2 flexis were difficult to do
Not sure what I want to ask maybe anyone had any similar experience
Best wishes
Wilbert
Hi Wilbert. Sorry to hear Mr. W is still having some discomfort. Good to know his bladder appears clear. I hope the tests can get to the bottom of things. Best wishes.
