Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same experience. I had my first TURBT last May, nothing too much pain wise just a lot of discomfort for several weeks. I had my Relook yesterday and found it to be really painful. I spoke with the surgeon and he said that there wasn’t any regrowth but had scrapped wider and deeper to make sure and sent the samples off to the lab.
Last night was horrendous and I didn’t get any sleep and the Catheter was so uncomfortable, I felt speared to the bed as the 6 two litre bottles were dripped into my bladder. I don’t remember it last time to be anywhere near as painful. I’m also passing more debris than before. I’m hoping a good nights sleep in my own bed may change my perceptions.
anyone else had this?
Hi Jimmyma2. My follow up was much easier than the first and I think that is the same in many cases. It looks as if they have had a good dig around with you to be on the safe side. I hope the discomfort doesn't last too long. Best wishes.
