My husband is taking part in this blind trial in the UK and is in the middle of his third cycle.
I thought I would reach out to others who may also be taking part so we can support each other.
(I had started a discussion a few weeks ago but spelt the trial name incorrectly, maybe why I hadn’t heard from anyone)
Hi, hope you are doing well. Will you be at the clinic tomorrow? Rogers’s appointment is 1.50 xx
Hi, yes so far so good, the hand and foot syndrome has started but very mildy, I’m so far keeping on top of it with creams. Yes I’ll be there tomorrow, my appointment isn’t until 4.10 though. I’ll get there around 3 for bloods. May see you if they’re running late. Hope Roger is ok.
Hi Buster28,
I'm just wondering how your husband is doing on the trial & hoping everything is going well?
My husband is just over half way now, it's nice to have finished the capecitabine and not having to worry about meal times. It's surprising how quickly the time has gone.
I am new to the group but not the trial. I have 4 infusions left.
Hi, I am sorry you have had to find yourself on this site, but welcome. I noticed no-one had replied, perhaps if you started a new conversation with more information about your diagnosis & treatment you may link up with others in the same situation? I hope your treatment is going well without too many side effects.
