Hello I just wanted to add my story, I’m 52 years old lady and was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer with mets to lymph nodes in April 2024. I had right sided tummy ache for around 7months which I put down to stress due to a very close family bereavement. After being seen in A+E and going through the system was told I had stage 4 bile duct cancer with mets to my lymph nodes, and they gave me weeks and months to live. As you can imagine this came as a huge shock to me and my family, but I’m still here and feeling really well. I have had a few bumps in the road, I got pancreatitis from the immunotherapy and Sepsis from my PICC line. But I recovered from these and continue to do well with my treatment which I have sailed through. I believe a very positive attitude has also helped and I have no intention of dying anytime soon.
