Tomorrow is my last day of radiation, and I’m excited to begin the recovery period in earnest. Right now I’d say the symptom that is the hardest for me is excruciating pain with every bowel movement. I’ve seen others describe it as trying to pass bits of broken glass, which I think is an apt description. I know not to expect immediate relief from this, but when typically did this improve for you? It’s hard to imagine living with this much pain long term, but I also know it’s best to be patient and not make long term assumptions right now. Just wondering what others’ experiences have been with this? Thank you!
