Yesterday (12th Feb) was my last treatment...woohoo! What a rollercoaster of emotions it was.
All the staff had been so kind and supportive on my journey especially the Macmillan nurse and they all gave me a lovely send off as I rang that bell for the whole of Lincolnshire to hear! Lol!
Now for a few weeks of me time to recover from all my sore bits, and try and get back to some near normality.
I hope everyone else on here who started on 6th Jan got to ring that bell yesterday as well.
Well done on completing your journey.
I bet there where so many emotions ringing that bell..your journey to recovery can now start.. sending you lots of positive thoughts..
I finished mine this morning and rang that bell so hard.. I've not cried at all through this journey but the tears have flowed today... ive met some lovely people on my visits each day and like you the staff have been amazing.. im now looking to the future and going to rest and recover..

I am sure you thought this day would never arrive - well done you! Now go home and be really kind to yourself, it is all about rest and recuperation from now on. Keep the remote close by and put it all behind you (literally!)
Gentle healing hug

Congratulations on finishing your treatment Namet , it’s a day we all long for but like you it was an incredibly emotional day for me too.
Now feet up & rest, rest & more rest. Be kind to yourself & just listen to your body, do things as & when you feel you can & do things on your timescale nobody else’s. It’ll all soon be a dim & distant memory.
Sending lots of healing thoughts your way.

Congratulations to you also Squeak. . Again take the time to get plenty of rest, the next couple of weeks might be a little ropey but you’re on your journey to recovery now & may it be a swift & uneventful one for you. It’s so hard saying goodbye when you’ve had a team that have looked after you so well isn’t it? Such an emotional day.
Sending lots of healing thoughts your way.
