Pain/discomfort??

Hi Sasue  the donut cushion didn't work all that well for me either. I got a pressure relieving cushion from the District Nurses which really  helped who can also provide a special mattress if required. If you call your GP they will be able to provide contact details so you can contact them direct. If your pain medication isn't working for you then I would request a telephone appointment with your Oncologist for further advice. Bev.

I bought a cheap inflatable donut cushion for the car and blew it up and sat on it, it was like a bouncy castle, ridiculous ! ...  of course the instructions were in Chinese. Anyway I let it down bit by bit and tried it again until it was really almost deflated, which worked much better, still a bit wobbly but takes the pressure off the anal region on long drives.

I also bought an oval foam one for a bit more money off ebay which I use on my office chair, it is much better than nothing.

The hospital gave me one for skinny bums ! the cheek of it ! the square foam one with the undulating grey shapes and a big keyhole shape in the middle, that is on my telly watching chair, comfy but big.

I hope you find something to suit you, my poor little bum hole gets sat on and squashed most of the day, can't be good for healing really.
