Follow Up Appt

I haven’t started treatment but the Dr examined me last week and said something like ‘don’t worry I won’t do this again until 3 weeks after treatment’

That ties in with your dates,

I've just just finished mine. My appointment is 3 weeks after also.

I think it's just a check up to see how your doing with the healing up I guess.

Thanks guys, I just thought it seemed a bit quick as they said at clinic they would see me in August. I had a lot of trouble with an extravasation when I was inpatient week 5 so thought maybe it had been brought forward because of that Xx

I had a check-in phone call the 2nd week after treatment finished, then a physical check-up 6 weeks later. Scans were done at 12 weeks, results were 2 weeks later. Things will vary between hospitals.

Thanks. I'm thinking it's maybe just been brought forward a bit as unfortunately I've been up at Assessment Unit twice since I finished treatment due to extravasation I had. Guess I'll find out next Mon :)

I heard nothing from the hospital after treatment and my follow up appt was exactly 6 weeks after.
