Glad you’ve got your date . My Consultant told me I could have Christmas Day off but I’d have to make the day up at the weekend , I’m in Nottingham .

Hey!!! Great to get the dates in.  I had a successful mapping session today (wasn't hydrated enough on 1st attempt)......I start treatment on 9th December!!!  I think I'll get Christmas/Boxing Day off too but will pick up the days!! Good luck

Your positive attitude (I am sure) is because treatment is now set in place and you (finally) have an agenda.

How did you find the treatment ? 
Do you go to Maggies ? I’ve not been yet but plan to . 
I’m starting treatment Monday , bit nervous as I had a colonoscopy today and 2 small polyps removed from my rectum , so my bottom is a bit sore after that .Think they wanted to check the rest of my bowel . Dr said the rest of my bowel looked ok and so did the polyps , which was a relief . 
Hope your scan in December is good news !

I haven’t been up Maggies yet as parking is always bad … when I was having treatment , my partner would drop me off and he would park on a side road till I was finished …

This is great that you’ve got some dates. I hit a bank holiday during my treatment, the radiotherapy department wasn’t open on the bank holiday Monday so I went on the Sunday instead although I’m not sure how they’ll factor in Christmas & New Year. Good luck with your oncology & mapping appointments.
