Hi
Just thought I'd post this, it may help someone. I finished treatment on 6th November so im about 2.5 weeks post now. I was dreading using the dilators because of what I'd read but I finally went for it yesterday and so far so good don't know what I was worried about. More importantly for me back in the gym today (my happy place ), I've obviously lost some strength and fitness but it felt good. Xx
Wow Bungle!
Back in the gym - the only exercise I was getting at your stage was hobbling to the loo! You have really done well, and I totally get wanting to be back in your happy place.
So pleased for you!
Irene xx
Hi Bungle,
Thats amazing and super impressive! A great big well done to you and very inspiring.
I still seem to be at the hobbling stage although only a couple of days behind you in finishing treatment. will take inspiration from you and try to push myself a little bit more as would be good to build up some strength again.
So glad you’re doing well. X
Hi PEB24
Thank you. Go at your own pace we are all different, most important thing is to get better doesn't matter how long it takes having said that patience is not one of my virtues. My timeline since finishing treatment has been more or less pain free poos since the 14th and walking normally since the 19th. Keep going you will get there. Xxx
