I had my MRI last Saturday, and a CT on Tuesday - things were happening fast. Now nothing. I feel like I've been forgotten because it's Easter. I still have to have a PET scan, before I see the oncologist re treatment options. I live on my own and my friends all have their own lives, so feeling alone right now.
Hi Puddy, I'm glad you finally got some results. FWIW, at least you have NHS, slow though it may be. My 'good' American insurance won't approve a PET scan at all- too expensive- so even though my oncologist feels it's the best way to check for stray cancer cells, all I get is a CT.
Good for you for arranging to have shopping and meals delivered! You'll probably be fine with the shower, but I worry about you driving. The first week I was fine, but after that I was very happy to have fam and friends take me. Not just from the meds, but the pain itself would have made driving not advisable. Can you figure something out?
You should be okay taking your dog out to do his business, but I doubt you'll be up for any long walks. Maybe arrange for a daily walker?
Bless you for soldiering through this on your own. Sending you all the good mojo.
