Hi, I have just been diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma . I have a 31mm tumor in the base of my tongue . Ive been told this is chemo resistant , so has anyone had a tumor in the tongue and can advise on treatment , surgery etc?
Hi ann42 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I don't have any experience with the type of cancer you have but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet.
As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you also join and post in the head and neck cancer group as I'm sure there'll be people there with the same type of cancer as you.
