Sharing stories in our Community News Blog is a great way to spread awareness and highlight different lived experiences. The content aims to connect you with members who you may not speak to in the groups you use regularly.
We are looking for people who would feel comfortable with sharing their story with the wider Community.
The topic of the blog can be discussed and the Community team will help you in the blog writing process. We usually have some good ideas and are there to support you write the blog every step of the way.
In the blog you could tell us more about your diagnosis experience or what having treatment was like for you. It can be a great opportunity to help raise awareness about a specific part of your cancer journey and potentially help someone else who is going through something similar, or reassure someone who is worried about the effects of cancer.
If you are interested, we would love to hear from you. Please register your interest by emailing community@macmillan.org.uk and say ‘guest blog’ in your email or commenting below and we will get in touch with you directly.
I do find it very helpful reading about other people's experiences.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
