Lack of diagnosis!

This is a slightly niche one- I had stage II rectal cancer treated with radio/chemo/brachytherapy and declared that to my insurers (Staysure). Ever since my 3 month check I've had cell dysplasia at the site and have been in discussion with the oncology and surgical teams. Initially, this seemed like it could come out at a simple endoscopy but the surgeons have decided that they prefer to go in with the night of the big knives and do an LAR, which I have pretty much resisted.  However, they said I'm fine to go on holiday... and physically I am great, with no side-effects of the treatment which ended over a year ago.

Declared  all this on the phone to Staysure today and they asked what the diagnosis was.  They have absolutely nothing which encompasses "cell dysplasia". I tried them with "pre cancerous polyp" which seemed like the best bet in general terms.. no. They said to call back when I could give them a diagnosis which can be put onto  their system.  I've gone through my recent and relevant  clinic letters and there isn't one!- just mention of cell dysplasia!

Has anyone any idea what to do when there just isn't a medical term that fits? I assume all the other insurers will do the same- our policy is up for renewal anyway and I want to change to single trip only so am prepared to shop around, but a computer is a computer!

I can't even think of another term to fit this... and I'm a medical secretary so I do know a few!
