Hi All
I joined the forum today and this is my first post.
I have skin cancer melanoma stage 2c ( diagnosed May24). and just had my 2nd dose of Pembro Immunotherapy and so far luckily with little side effects.
Any travel insurance companies options that I can book with to either cover me ( no doubt with a large premium!) or cover me excluding my cancer..
We are going outside of Europe.
Thanks vey much for any advice
Richard
Hi Richard
just replied to your other post about Pembro. I was despairing a little of finding reasonable travel insurance but I saw a recommendation on this site for Insurancewith.com and just got a good policy for a five day trip to Paris for £27. I had to speak to an adviser when I got an error code on the website and she was very helpful. It covers skin cancer and treatment. I also got my skin cancer nurse to do me a letter confirming I was fit to travel (there’s a question you have to answer ref ‘has your consultant agreed you can travel abroad?’) just in case of any insurance claims.
Hope that helps
Claire
Hi Claire
Grest thanks you very much
You have saved me hours of phone calls and frustration. I will try this company . We are wanting to go to Uzbekistan so at least treatment will be inexpensive if dio need it .!
Hope you are living life well . ?
Having recently been diagnosed has changed my perspective on life . The answer to any question is now Yes why not, and simply go for it .!
thanks again
All the best
Richard
