Hi all iam looking to take my mother away for a week to mallorca she has lung cancer which is stable but incurable also she has copd and rheumatoid arthritis I've phoned a few company's but they are asking £800 and above is this normal any recommendation would be greatly appreciated thank you
Hi Gmc1979 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately it can be more difficult to find reasonably priced travel insurance when a cancer diagnosis is involved and, as your mother has other pre-existing medical conditions it's likely to push the cost higher still.
Have you had chance to look at the recommendations from other members of the community in the Recommended Travel Insurance thread yet? If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. As there are lots of recommendations it's probably best to go through and make a list before sitting down to phone the companies.
