Had difficulty finding an travel insurance cover for a cruise holiday on the Gironde in France - most companies came up with an exorbitant premium virtually a quarter of the cruise holiday cost. Finally settled on InsureWith who took a sensible approach by increasing the excess to give a more sensible premium. Surprised no more Insurers take this view. Also disappointed that no insurers that I approached appear to give you the opportunity to say that a condition has been in remission for 40/50 years.
