Hi I’m new to this forum so apologies if this question is a repetitive one - my husband has oesophageal cancer and has just finished first cycle of chemotherapy he has a break now till planned surgery in November and we are looking to go on holiday preferably a cruise so no flying but cannot find anyone to insure us at a reasonable cost / he is happy to exclude cover for the cancer - can anyone recommend or point us in the right direction please tia
Hi Kaz16 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
A cruise sounds lovely but, unfortunately, it can be difficult to find reasonably priced insurance when you've had a cancer diagnosis.
I can't recommend a company that will exclude cancer, as I've always covered mine, but have you had chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' thread yet, as that's where the majority of recommendations are? If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. There are lots of recommendations there so it's probably best to make a list and then sit down with a big cup of tea (other drinks are available) and start phoning around.
Do come back and let us know how you get on
