I had an operation in March, 30% of my liver removed, now back in very good health, the oncologist does not want to see me until July, after my last appointment, which he said I was clear. Still having problems getting travel insurance, my previous company wanted to increase my premium for £199 for a couplre to £2598!!!, are there any companies out there tah will insure me??
Hi bigal4u and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, as you've found, it can be more difficult to find reasonably priced travel insurance when you've had a cancer diagnosis.
I don't know if you've had chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' thread yet, as it's where the majority of recommendations from other forum members are. If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. There are lots of recommendations there so it's best to go through the thread, make a list and then sit down with a big cup of tea before starting to phone.
