My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November following a failed surgery - he is now classed as terminal with 6month to 12 months with chemo. He really wants a holiday abroad
He has just completed 6 cycles of extra strong chemo & has managed to cope with it pretty well therefore managing a good quality of life at present
I have tried numerous travel firms but as soon as I put terminal down they shut me down.
We know this is going to be the last holiday in Europe we are going to have so would appreciate any help from you for advice.
Hi Nurse10 this is a very hard area to navigate and hard to get any price but have a look through the 'recommended travel insurance' thread and this New Thread in the group as it's where the majority of recommendations from other forum members are. You can also look through all the individual members posts in the group as well.
My husband tried Insure Cancer recently and they said they only cater for terminal cancer. I hope they can help you.
