Hi, I’m new to this support group, can anyone give me advice and maybe a idea on cost for holiday insurance for usa including 5 day cruise for stage 4 pancreatic cancer (Neurodicrine tumour) who has started in Somatuline auto gel injections please, I really have no idea where to start or how much but it’s our once in a lifetime holiday

Hi Hotstuff and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Your planned holiday sounds lovely but it can be more difficult to get reasonably priced travel insurance when you have cancer.
I can't help with your request to be given a figure for insurance and a cruise to America, as I haven't been there since having been diagnosed with cancer, and there are so many variables involved in an insurance quote such as length of stay, what type of cancer you have, how long ago the diagnosis was, whether it's spread, etc, etc. that what gets quoted for one person would be completely different for you.
Have you had chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' thread yet as it's where the majority of recommendations from other forum members are? If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. You might also want to look at this thread as it includes a link to a Travel Insurance Directory.
Most people find that it's best to phone the insurance companies rather than try and do online quotes as often at the end of the online quote it will tell you to phone the company and you'll then have to go through all the information again. Also sometimes the broker can refer to the underwriters to see if they would provide cover when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.
