Hi all am having my final chemo session next week and hoping to go abroad in the summer can anyone recommend insurance companies or do I have to trawl the net?
also would it be more cost effective to insure myself then insure my family separately?
Hi Rehead1
Have you had a chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' thread yet as it's where the majority of recommendations from other forum members are. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. You might also want to look at this thread as it includes a link to a Travel Insurance Directory.
I don't know if it's more cost effective to insure yourself separately form the rest of the family, as it probably depends on the insurer, but I recently took out insurance for myself and my husband and for us it was more cost effective to do a joint policy rather than two sole policies.
Let us know how you get on
