Could someone recommend a nice easy to use or speak to helpful travel insurance company please, now I can go abroad to visit daughter in Switzerland.
I am planning on going in August for 6 days.
I had bowel cancer surgery 2 year ago and given the all clear 3 month after, although I have to have blood test & scans for 5 years etc, also I have been diagnosed with an slightly enlarged Aorta where I have to go for a scan every 3 month I also take BP tables (3)
Roughly how much should I have to pay and the good companies to use please would be very helpful.
kind regards

Hi Michael
Being in a position to be able to visit your daughter in Switzerland sounds lovely.
Have you had a chance to look through the 'recommended travel insurance' thread yet as it's where the majority of recommendations from other forum members are. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there. You might also want to look at this thread as it includes a link to a Travel Insurance Directory.
Most people recommend that it's best to phone the insurance companies rather than try and do online quotes as often at the end of the online quote it will tell you to phone the company and you'll then have to go through all the information again. Also sometimes the broker can refer to the underwriters to see if they would provide cover when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.
Let us know how you get on
