Insurance for the Maldives

Hi Knoppy,  Happy Lass posted an insurance 10 days ago with Insurewith for travel to Maldives dont know if you have tried this. We have used this and it is very competative and will insure you where others wont.  Good Luck

Hi Travelgirl, thanks for your response but hopefully we are now sorted. I think my husband tried that comp but because I am 78 and hubby 75 we were too old. 

Have you tried Saga? My husband who has a 3B melanoma has had a competitive quote from them (for single trip cover - the annual policy was way too expensive with all the companies we tried). Ringing around for quotes the prices were very variable so sadly the only way to find a good one was phoning lots of different companies. Good luck!

Have you tried Staysure?

Thanks Muffin break but Staysure wouldn’t insure us after we had a claim 5 years ago when hubby was first diagnosed with Cancer and we had to cancel a holiday so that he could have an operation. We e sorted now anyway with Allclear.

Hiya saga quoted £1644 for 2 weeks in Greece?

Muffin break that’s a lot isn’t it? We were quoted £287 for my husband for 2 weeks to Greece in September. Everyone’s situation, and therefore risk, is so different!
