Hi All,
I have been invited to spend a few weeks with a friend at his house in Hawaii in November. Before applying for travel insurance I wondered if any subscriber here has had experience obtaining travel insurance for America? Is there a specialist agency that deals with America?
I was diagnosed with Low-Grade non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in May 2018. I have had 6 Chemo sessions ending in December 2019 with a complete metabolic response, so I am in remission. I also have Diabetes 2 which is controlled with tablets and insulin.
If anyone can give some pointers here I would be grateful.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the online community
That sounds like a fabulous holiday, going to Hawaii during our winter!
I don't know if there are any insurance companies that specilise in travel insurance for America but it can be more difficult to find travel insurance when you have had a cancer diagnosis.
Have you had chance to look through the Recommended Travel Insurance thread yet as it's where we try to keep recommendations from other forum members who have obtained travel insurance? If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you to it.
Most people recommend that you phone the travel companies rather than try and do online quotes as it's easier to explain to someone than try to do it online.
I do hope that you can get some reasonably priced travel insurance and that you have a great trip.
