Anyone else get a day when you are so fed up of having a stoma and want to turn the clock back.
I have no reason to feel like this today as my stoma is no bother at all and obviously it saved my life. Also when I read about how people in some countries cant access stoma supplies, at all.then my problems with delivery firms at the moment pale into insignificance.
Sorry just needed to vent.hopefully next week I will have sorted the delivery problems with supplies snd be back to normal.

Hi Kath- I think all of us who have life changing surgery does to save our lives have bad days, we wonder if it was worth it and some days the slightest thing can make the difference between a good a or bad day.
I don’t know which stoma you have but suspect and intestine one but to be honest some mornings with my neck stoma I just wonder why with all the cleaning and maintenance, on top of emphysema that means too much mucus
But then tomorrow we get up and the world is different and we cope fine, just watch an uplifting film or think something positive, works wonders- nearly every day really
You take care and just think of the positive days

Hi Kath
I was just saying to my partner the other day I’d give a lot to have even just a single day bag free. I don’t think it’s moaning-it’s just yearning for that past life we had. The simple “pleasure” of going to the loo in the normal way and being able to shower and dress and get on with the day without having to deal with 2 bags before I do anything seems like such a distant memory now.
I’m glad you got your supplies issue sorted out-the extra stress that those issues can cause is awful. Keep smiling!
Sarah xx
