Hi everyone
I've been told we're losing my sweet 33 year old husband 's battle. Please could I get advice on either hospice or at home or a care home is better?
I want him to be at home but have been told it can be very hard to cope with as he deteriorates.
Any experiences? Particularly as a younger patient?
Thanks in advance
Hello Lalala123
I am so sorry to hear of your husbands cancer. It must be a difficult time for you both.
If you need to talk things through, please do give the Support Line a call. They are there from 8am-8pm daily. They will also be able to have a look to see what is available in your actual area.
I can understand that the choices to be made are difficult ones. I suppose it can depend on lots of factors and that what you may feel at one time, may change. I know from experience with friends and family that it is a very personal decision. It can also be important to consider where these services are and how close to home and family and friends.
I can understand your feeling that you would like to keep him at home and that can work for some people as long as the support is there.
I will pop a link below to some information on End of life care. In it there are some resources that I hope you will find helpful.

Please do remember that the Support Line is there if you need it.
I know this is a very difficult time and I hope that the links give a bit of information that helps with your decision.
