Hi Vegas, I am so sorry to hear about your husband, my sincerest condolences to you and all his loved ones at this difficult time, and I would just like to Echo everything you said about hospice care, and the wonderful support, care and comfort they give to all the family, I have been with mine for over a year, and knowing there is such a place for me when it is time helps enormously with my thoughts and fears. My best wishes, Eddie xx
Sorry to hear about your husband Vegas. My Mum is currently receiving hospice care and we are at the final days. They are truly amazing places. I have supported our local hospice for many years after they also cared for my Dad just over 10 years ago. They wrap their arms around the whole family and it is certainly a comfort to know that they are caring so well for my Mum xxx
Can I also just say how incredibly lucky I feel to know that my Mum was given a space there. She almost ended up in hospital for these final weeks. Fortunately she refused to go back to hospital whilst still at home. We could have been facing a very different picture now if she had agreed to go to hospital 2 weeks ago.
