My dad has kidney cancer that's spread to his rib and liver. He is currently in hospital due to being dehydrated and not eating. He has currently had to stop all treatment until his hydration, blood pressure is steady. I'm at a loss though as he just feels too sick to eat and it's so hard seeing such a weight loss and him so poorly he can't even walk alone anymore. I just feel so so helpless.

Sorry to hear about your dad, hopefully the hospital can get on top of this but I can easily understand how difficult it can be. Hope you are managing to find time to look after yourself because I know how tiring it can be with visiting.
