My Dad is scared about dying especially the pain side. What is the best thing to say to him?
Hi Lilytoad23 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I haven't been in your position, caring for someone who is dying, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
While you're waiting for replies, it might help you to take a look at this information from Macmillan entitled if the person you care for is dying and also this on end of life. You'll see that there's plenty of support for both you and your dad and it might help him if he speaks to the nurses on the Macmillan Support Line about his fears. They are available 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm on 0808 808 0000.
((hugs))
