Hi
My husband has terminal lung cancer with mets in his spine and pelvis, at the minute he is so confused and cannot get warm, I got him a heated jacket and pillow but he says he is cold inside his body, has anyone any ideas of what I can do to warm him up. The confusion I think is to do with the medication which the palliative nurse is trying to sort out, he is now off his food, and is spending a lot of time in bed, any help would be so welcome .
It sounds like you are doing all you can to comfort him… a heated jacket?! How lovely for him to have that..I don’t know but sometimes a hot water bottle at the feet can heat you up all over.. I don’t know how but it does that for me.
Maybe getting the pain meds sorted will help numb the sensation of cold too.. there’s a lot to be said for sleeping a lot when the alternative is distress no matter what the cause.
hope you get on ok with things xx
