Hi Guys, my younger brother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer he’s only 32. It has obviously turned our life’s upside down. I’m really struggling with my emotions and how to deal with it all and it just gets worse with everyday that passes. I don’t know what to do.

  • Hi HarleyQuinn87

Welcome to the forum, my apologise for the delay in response, I know that you would prefer to be anywhere other than on this forum and the news you have received to be just a bad dream, but you have come to the right place. I know that the diagnosis for your Brother has come as a total shock for you, Stage 4 pancreatic cancer would be a shock to anyone, but I imagine when it is your baby brother, that makes the news even more shocking.

I imagine that you have read the information on this Macmillan site regarding advanced pancreatic cancer, but just in case you haven't I have linked it HERE

Maybe you and your brother would also like to visit THIS forum, here you can join in with the chat from other with pancreatic cancer, or their loved ones who are, like you trying to come to terms with the diagnosis.

Although I do not have experience of pancreatic cancer enough to give you further advice, I really do know what it is like to experience the news that someone you love has stage 4 cancer, I am thinking of you both.

Please ask your brother to call the Macmillan helpline if he would like to talk, the number is in my signature below, they really do have all the information that you both need to know at this time.

Thinking of you both and sending strength
