Hi everyone. Just a shout out to see how everyone is. I managed to speak to my doctor on Friday and she has prescribed new antidepressants and sleeping tablets. The sleeping tablets don't seem to be having any effect and it's too early to know if the antidepressants will make a difference. I seem to wake up at 4.30 every morning. I finally got up at 7am. I, like everyone else, have so much going through my mind at the moment. I've been getting bad headaches and my sight seems to be getting worse. Anyway enough about me. I hope this finds you all as well as can be expected. Take care and stay safe. X
Hi Greg,
Thanks for the comments and they do have a good system whereby you can sell your season ticket for a particular game through formal channels. I can see that it would also give me something positive to 'aim for' that I enjoy, rather than the more negative arguments for not renewing that my head had been throwing into the ring. I think I will renew and look forward to Barnsley in the FA Cup!
Thanks again, Mike
.......as an update, our Nicola has just done her talk and clearly said that in Scotland - Shielding remains in place and will be reviewed in a few weeks time depending on what is happening with COVID (but we are a few weeks behind the rest of the UK)
As of tomorrow those not shielding can now meet with another household in a park or a garden but observing the 2m rule and the meeting place should be within 5 miles of home. But could be slightly further remembering the restrictions of availability of toilets - so we just looked put our granddaughters potty for the future
Hi Mike (whatcanyoudo),
I don’t think you’ll have any problems getting tickets for a home game v Barnsley! I would definitely like that to happen though, I’d like to check out the new stadium, it looks very impressive!
All the best
Greg
So today in Scotland.
At today's Scottish Government briefing health secretary Jeane Freeman said: "For the last three months, more than any other group of people the restrictions we have asked people in the shielded group to follow have been incredibly difficult and we also know it is tough for you to see restrictions being eased for those less at risk, and want clarity for when you can start to lead less restricted lives.
"We will provide you with that information over the course of the next few weeks.
"We have not forgotten you, but I want to stress that the changes announced yesterday by the UK government are for England only – they don't apply to you.
"We will try as far as we can to move away from a blanket approach that requires all of you to stay at home all of the time to one that reflects the latest clinical advice and your own particular circumstances."

Hey Moomy,
Hope you are well?
Thank you very much. I will have a beer tonight to celebrate just a shame I can’t do it in the pub.
Thank you also to everyone on this forum for your support and comfort through some hard times. Hopefully I can push on from here.
Regards
Mark x
Hi Mark, I will have a wee dram to celebrate along with you.
Tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of my first go at an Allo SCT
