Just completed day 9 of 23 of Pelvic Radiotherapy. I have had minimal side effects up until today when I have started with severe back pain across the top of my buttocks, so kidney area. I thought maybe I was dehydrated but I have kept very hydrated during the day and still have the pain. Im wondering if anyone has also had this and if they have taken Paracetamol to help. I have a review next Monday and will mention this but I need some short term pain relief until I have my review. Any advice would be useful thanks.

I would give the radiotherapy dept a call directly but if not I would suggest calling the 24hour hospital number that you would have been given during chemo.
I would advise not leaving it till your review but getting some advice now. Alternatively the Support Line is available until 8pm tonight.
